Dahlgren School Needs PTO Officers
Dahlgren School is looking for volunteers to serve as board members for the Parent⁄Teacher Organization. Seats to be filled include President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Dahlgren School Has School Board Vacancies
Dahlgren School has three school board vacancies for school year 2010-2011. School board members are actively-involved military community members that make children’s education a priority. Second Tour Thrift Boutique Bag Sale
Second Tour Thrift Boutique will hold a bag sale on March 18 from 9:30 a.m. – Noon at 722 Sampson Road. Currently, we have J Crew, The Limited, Ann Taylor, Talbots, Tommy Hilfiger and more on our racks. At our bag sale, you can fill a bag with clothes for just $3 a bag. Tons of great deals are here along with free uniforms, and new merchandise every week.
Free Legal Appointments
The Fleet and Family Support Center is now accepting appointments for free legal assistance for April 8. This is a convenient opportunity for active-duty military, retired military personnel or military family members to speak with a JAG from Naval District Washington's legal assistance office regarding any legal issue to include wills. DOSC Accepting Scholarship Applications

DOSC to Distribute Charitable Funds
The Dahlgren Officers’ Spouses Club is currently accepting requests from non-profit organizations who could benefit from receiving a charitable, monetary donation. Information Security Symposium
The Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Program Office has scheduled its 4th Annual INFOSEC Symposium for April 20. As previously announced, the symposium will be held in Bldg. 1705 on board Naval Support Facility Dahlgren. This year's symposium theme is “Information Operations (IO) - A How to Guide to Security.“
The goal of this symposium is to brief Aegis employees, supporting contractors and other employees on changes in policy and procedures regarding properly handling classified documents and the changes in unified information security criteria.
