Missoula Children's Theatre and Summer Workshops
will be presenting ‘‘Beauty Lou and the Country Beast” at NSF Dahlgren. Auditions for the production will be held at Dahlgren School Monday, August 9 from 10 a.m. - Noon.

Rehearsal times⁄dates will be given once auditions are complete and will be held at either the Dahlgren School or the Dowell Community House depending on their roles. Rehearsal times will be daily from 10 a.m. - Noon and⁄or 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. All children auditioning will be required to have a permission slip signed by a parent prior to auditioning. Parents must be aware of the commitment that cast members will have to make in order to be in this production. Permissions slips may be obtained at the Youth Activities Center, 540-653-8009. Please note that not all children that audition will be selected to perform.

The Final Performances will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14 at Dahlgren School at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

1. Let's Make Up - Aug. 10 at 9 a.m.
Without the support of visual image, the most talented of actors can portray only a narrow spectrum of characters. Make-up is the foundation and the most basic visual image for all performers. This participatory workshop teaches students of all ages by demonstrating corrective, old age and fantasy make-up. Grade level: Entering 1st grade -12th grade. Maximum participants: 60

2. Chameleon Improv - Aug. 11 at 9 a.m.
Participation is emphasized as the students learn to act without a script. This workshop can be geared to all levels of students from beginners to more experienced young actors. Grade level: 3rd -12th. Maximum participants: 60

3. The Rhythm is Gonna Get You - Aug. 12 at 9 a.m. From simple sounds and rhythms to choreographed songs, young students explore how music can be used in theatrical performance (and just for fun). Grade Level: Entering 1st grade - 2nd. Maximum participants: 30

CALLING ALL LOCAL ARTISTS!!! Join us Aug. 29 for the 1st Annual NSF Dahlgren General Library Art Show. Exhibition opens to artist working in any medium. Artists will be able to sell their work during the show. Ribbons will be awarded. Teen and children will be judges separately.
